If you've only ever walked along the beach and have never really seen the majesty of our sand dunes, a dune tour is for you! Art's Dune Tours, based in Provincetown, offer several options, all providing interesting sights-and insights.
The tours are given in Suburbans that hold six to eight riders, and are enclosed and air-conditioned for a comfortable ride. You can select the best tour for you based on your interest: whether you want to learn the history of the lake, want to do a little fishing or sailing, are an amateur photographer looking to take to get great shots, or just want a little fun. Daily trips start at 10:00 a.m., with the last one (a sunset tour), leaving at 5:30 p.m. Here's a sampling of what they offer.
Land 'N Lake tour. An early morning excursion that covers the history, ecology and geology of the lake. Includes a kayaking excursion on Old East Harbor Lake and lunch. 3 ½-4 hours $135/adult, $85/child

Art's Dune Tours is a family venture, and has been running tours since 1946, so they run a well-oiled business and great to deal with. Provincetown is a nice 30-minute drive from the Inn, and a fun town to poke around in too.
Stay with us at the inn and we'll be happy to help you arrange your tour!
